It requires a complete overhaul of production systems, in order to improve product lifecycles and to reduce the ecological footprint. In this context, maintenance is key to extend the products durability. This study addresses maintenance planning optimization within the Circular Economy framework. An original lot-sizing model for tactical maintenance planning on a single-machine with multiple components is presented. The main features of this model are the consideration of the component health index and the global budget on environmental impact.
