While CDN is deployed to cache content at the optimal server corresponding to the content and geographical location, this paper focuses on verifying the efficiency of ICN slice for regional content distribution. Specifically, the ICN slice can be established by the regional Orchestrator by following the current NFV/SDN standard. Then, the slice stitching process will be performed to interconnect two slices after their establishments via the Orchestrator. We also implement an OpenStack-based virtual node which supports both IP and ICN protocols and acts as the ICN-Gateway.
