An efficient geographic routing protocol is needed to enable Internet-wide geocast on the network level. In this paper we evaluate an implementation of a path based geographic routing protocol. We specifically look at the behavior and performance of this protocol during network convergence. We show that our implementation constructs forwarding trees that are close to a shortest path tree in link cost. We also show that our algorithm converges relatively quickly in case the network changes. %G English %Z TC 6 %Z WG 6.2 %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-02269727/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-02269727/file/470666_1_En_10_Chapter.pdf %L hal-02269727 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-02269727 %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC6 %~ IFIP-WG6-2 %~ IFIP-WWIC %~ IFIP-LNCS-10866
