In order to achieve high scalability and availability, recent distributed key-value stores refrain from costly replica coordination when processing requests. However, these systems typically do not perform well under churn. In this paper, we propose DataFlagons, a large-scale key-value store that integrates epidemic dissemination with a probabilistic total order broadcast algorithm. By ensuring that all replicas process requests in the same order, DataFlagons provides probabilistic strong data consistency while achieving high scalability and robustness under churn. %G English %Z TC 6 %Z WG 6.1 %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01824632/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01824632/file/469768_1_En_5_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01824632 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01824632 %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-WG %~ IFIP-TC6 %~ IFIP-WG6-1 %~ IFIP-DAIS %~ IFIP-DISCOTEC %~ IFIP-LNCS-10853
