A variable thickness of a plate plays the role of a control variable. The original problem for the deflection is regularized in order to have the uniqueness of a solution to the state problem and only the existence of an optimal thickness but also necessary optimality conditions. %G English %Z TC 7 %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01626915/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01626915/file/447583_1_En_11_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01626915 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01626915 %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-AICT %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC7 %~ IFIP-CSMO %~ IFIP-AICT-494
