Security is of utmost importance for its usage due to the open architecture of the Internet. Recently, Yoon et al. proposed a SIP authentication scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) that claimed to provide higher security than other schemes. However, as demonstrated in this paper, it is still vulnerable to off-line dictionary and partition attacks. %G English %Z TC 6 %Z TC 11 %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01596196/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01596196/file/978-3-642-24712-5_11_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01596196 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01596196 %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC11 %~ IFIP-TC6 %~ IFIP-CMS %~ IFIP-LNCS-7025
