The aim of GENASIS is to compile validated data on persistent organic pollutants, including their properties, sources, long-term levels, life times, transport mechanisms, effects and risks, scattered throughout various institutions and ministries, and to provide tools for their visualization, analyses, interpretation, assessment of environmental and human risks or modelling of fate. Such a tool should significantly enhance comprehensive understanding of the fate of POPs in the environment, their impacts on ecosystem and the human population. %G English %Z TC 5 %Z WG 5.11 %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01569230/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01569230/file/978-3-642-22285-6_51_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01569230 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01569230 %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-AICT %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC5 %~ IFIP-WG %~ IFIP-WG5-11 %~ IFIP-ISESS %~ IFIP-AICT-359
