PCI, or Layer 1 identity, is an essential configuration parameter of a radio cell. It identifies the cell in mobility functions such as cell reselection and handover. In this paper simulation results, in order to optimize PCI planning in LTE networks is developed and several recommendations for PCI planning strategies are presented. %G English %Z TC 6 %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01533591/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01533591/file/978-3-642-30039-4_20_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01533591 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01533591 %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC6 %~ IFIP-LNCS-7291 %~ IFIP-NETWORKING
