We discuss the characteristics of the vulnerability – which affects all versions of Android – and propose two different fixes, each involving little patching implementing a few architectural countermeasures. We also provide experimental evidence of the effectiveness of the exploit as well as of the proposed countermeasures. %G English %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01518240/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01518240/file/978-3-642-30436-1_2_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01518240 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01518240 %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-AICT %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC11 %~ IFIP-SEC %~ IFIP-AICT-376
