In this paper we present Cinemappy, a location-based application that computes contextual movie recommendations. Cinemappy refines the recommendation results of a content-based recommender system by exploiting contextual information related to the current spatial and temporal position of the user. The content-based engine leverages graph information within DBpedia, one of the best-known datasets publicly available in the Linked Open Data (LOD) project. %G English %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01506768/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01506768/file/978-3-642-40511-2_29_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01506768 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01506768 %~ SHS %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC5 %~ IFIP-WG %~ IFIP-TC8 %~ IFIP-CD-ARES %~ IFIP-WG8-4 %~ IFIP-WG8-9 %~ IFIP-LNCS-8127
