Several operational broadband measurement results showed that the majority of the traffic is caused by a small percentage of large flows, called the elephants. In this paper, we investigate the same phenomenon in regards of users. Our results show that even though the packet level statistics of elephant users and elephant flows show similar characteristics, there is only a small overlap between the two phenomena. %G English %Z TC 6 %Z WG 6.6 %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01497035/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01497035/file/978-3-642-40552-5_4_Chapter.pdf %L hal-01497035 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01497035 %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC6 %~ IFIP-WG6-6 %~ IFIP-LNCS-8115 %~ IFIP-EUNICE
