%X In recent years Agile Project Management (APM) and especially the Scrum framework have grown in popularity in order to deal with “vuca” business environments. Scrum has become more and more common practice in software development and has already been tested in a few hardware domains. But is it also applicable outside the development area? The paper aims to show potentials and limitations in the use of Scrum in a purchasing environment and describes implemented customizations.
