Unfortunately, the design of the certificate distribution in this mechanism yields some vulnerabilities. In this paper, we investigate an attack which exploits SIP infrastructures as reflectors to bring down a web server. Our experiments demonstrate that the attacks can be easily mounted. Finally, we discuss some potential methods to prevent this vulnerability. %G English %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01056382/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-01056382/file/webdos.pdf %L hal-01056382 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-01056382 %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-LNCS-6109 %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-TC11 %~ IFIP-TC6 %~ IFIP-CMS %~ IFIP-2010
