The multi-party sessions obtained projecting our global types enjoy a liveness property in addition to the traditional progress and are shown to be sound and complete with respect to the set of traces of the originating global type. Our notion of completeness is less demanding than the classical ones, allowing a multi-party session to leave out redundant traces from an underspecified global type. %G English %Z TC 6 %Z WG 6.1 %2 https://hal.science/hal-00618814/document %2 https://hal.science/hal-00618814/file/978-3-642-21461-5_1_Chapter.pdf %L hal-00618814 %U https://hal.science/hal-00618814 %~ UNIV-PARIS7 %~ CNRS %~ IFIP-LNCS %~ IFIP %~ IFIP-TC %~ IFIP-WG %~ IFIP-TC6 %~ IFIP-WG6-1 %~ IFIP-FORTE %~ IFIP-FMOODS %~ IFIP-LNCS-6722 %~ UNIV-PARIS
