Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are technologies on the rise and as their market grows, speeding up the process of developing new ideas becomes even more important. In achieving rapid development, rapid prototyping plays a very important role. To support rapid prototyping, this demo paper presents an approach that relies on an object repository. It enables scanning, editing, storing and publishing of virtual objects that can be reused in different augmented and virtual reality applications. To show the benefits of the approach, an exemplary scenario is illustrated by prototyping an interior design application.
