OSSLI: Architecture Level Management of Open Source Software Legality Concerns

Abstract

This paper presents a tool that addresses the legality concerns of open source at the level of software architecture, early in the development activity. The tool demonstrates the significance of licensing concerns at the architectural level by extending existing modeling tools with support for open source licensing issues.
